How the platform stays accountable

Four operating principles
behind every transaction.

  • Seller-controlled markets

Sellers decide which verified buyers ever
    see an opportunity.

  • Qualified participation

Identity, role and eligibility are checked in
    context, not assumed.

  • Governed disposition

Policy and safety rules apply before any
    route is offered or ranked.

  • Evidence & exceptions

    Outcomes are recorded, and disputes
    follow defined processes.

These are descriptions of how the platform is
designed to operate — not certifications or third-
party endorsements.

01The platform
The platform

Three connected
capabilities. One
governed system.

Qualification, demand and disposition
work together — so surplus moves
through one accountable platform rather
than three disconnected tools.

Documented stock

Surplus Enterprise

Qualify and govern surplus
stock.

Document and qualify lots, set
authorized disposition routes, and
keep oversight of how, where and
to whom surplus is offered.

Enterprise, Exchange and Network share
the same qualification, policy and evidence
backbone — the output of one stage
becomes the trusted input of the next.

/ the governed model

A governed path from
surplus to a resolved
outcome —
qualification, market
rules, permitted
audiences, transactions,
evidence and
resolution, organized
into one connected
sequence rather than a
public classifieds wall.

Governed path

02The process

Built in at every stage

  • Each stage produces a trusted
    input for the next.
  • Policy and safety checks run
    before, not after, matching.
  • Nothing confidential is exposed
    on public pages.

The seven stages

Qualify → Govern →
Match → Optimize →
Transact → Prove →
Resolve.

Select a stage to see what it does in
plain English. On a keyboard, use the
arrow keys.

1Qualify

Confirm condition, quantity, provenance and the category requirements a lot must meet before it can move.

  • Input:Lot record
  • Output:Qualified lot

Evidence records what happened in the process;
it does not by itself guarantee the truth of
underlying claims.

For enterprise sellers

Protect margin,
brand and control.

For retailers, distributors,
manufacturers and inventory
owners who need to recover
value without exposing pricing,
brand or channels.

  • Qualified stock

    Clear, documented lots reduce
    ambiguity, disputes and avoidable

    returns.

  • Governed private demand

    You decide which verified buyers
    are ever shown an opportunity.

  • Defensible net outcomes

    Evaluate routes on expected net
    recovery, not on headline bids.

Outcomes depend on verified facts,
applicable rules and the route chosen. No
recovery value, sell-through rate or margin
improvement is guaranteed.

Enterprise stock

Seller control

You stay in control of
your inventory.

Participation is seller-controlled at
every step. You define what is offered,
to whom, and under which rules — and
you can change it.

  • Stock qualification — set the
    condition and documentation each lot

    must meet.

  • Permitted audiences — approve
which verified buyers can see an

    opportunity.

  • Category rules — apply the safety and
    handling requirements for each

    category.

  • Market-specific controls — reflect
where a route is permitted and active.

Inventory ownership and commercial decisions
remain with the accountable parties under the
relevant seller arrangements. Zoiko Surplus does
not automatically own or store your stock.

Seller controls

For verified buyers

Relevant inventory.
Permissioned access.

Access is built for qualified
professional organizations and is
granted in stages — never by simply
visiting a public page.

  1. 1

    Apply

Tell us about your organization and
the categories and markets you buy

in. This begins a review — it is not

    an account.

  2. 2

    Verify

    We check identity, role and
    eligibility relevant to the

    categories and markets you have

    asked about.

  3. 3

    Receive approved invitations

    Where a seller approves your
    profile, you receive invitations to

    specific private markets you are

    permitted to see.

Apply as a Verified Buyer

Participation is for qualified professional
organizations. Applying does not guarantee
approval or immediate access.

03CoverageCategory coverage

Different categories,
different rules —
activated separately.

Coverage reflects what is designed,
planned and proposed. A category
shown here is not automatically live in
your market.

  • Apparel & Footwear
    Proposed first pilot

    Apparel & Footwear

The proposed first activation is a UK domestic,
    seller-private B2B market — an initial

    configuration, not evidence the global

    platform is live.

  • Consumer Goods
    Not yet activated

    Consumer Goods

Packaged household and lifestyle goods, with
    condition, origin and lawful-resale

    considerations.

  • Food & Grocery
    Separate approval

    Food & Grocery

Sealed ambient food requires its own safety,
shelf-life and traceability sign-off before any

    activation.

  • Further Categories
    Planned, if approved

    Further Categories

Industrial and business goods may follow,
subject to category packs and approval.

Trust & safety

Trust is a process, not a
badge.

Four disciplines keep transactions
accountable. None of them, on its own,
is a guarantee.

  • Verified participation

Identity, role and eligibility checks for the
    participants a transaction relies on.

  • Controlled visibility

    Confidential inventory, prices and
audiences stay protected from public view.

  • Policy & product safety

    Country, category, corridor and brand
controls are evaluated at the relevant
    action gates.

  • Records & resolution

    Documented orders and evidence, with
governed handling of holds and disputes.

We distinguish information supplied by
sellers from information independently
verified by an authorized provider.
Verification, legality, title and product
safety are separate things — and
verification is not a safety guarantee.

Private markets

Why you won’t see
private inventory here.

Public pages carry information
only. Access to confidential lots,
prices, bids and buyer identities
is earned through qualification
and seller authorization — never
granted by browsing.

  1. Public

    Open information

What the platform is and how it works
    — with nothing confidential exposed.

  2. Qualify

    Verification

    Identity, role and eligibility are
    checked for your categories and
    markets.

  3. Authorize

    Seller approval

A seller approves your profile for a
    specific private market.

  4. Access

    Permitted view

    Only then do approved opportunities
    become visible to you.

Global readiness

Designed for global
commerce. Activated
responsibly, market by
market.

One architecture can support many
markets, categories, currencies and
legal models. That design does not
mean trading is live everywhere —
availability is shown honestly, from an
approved source.

Lot lifecycle

Lifecycle & outcomes

From qualified lot to
resolved outcome.

Information about a lot moves through
qualification, governed matching,
transaction, evidence and resolution —
and the platform can report defined
outcomes along the way.

  • Transaction status — completed, failed
    or revoked.
  • Documented disposition — the route a
    lot actually took.
  • Exception handling — holds, disputes
    and recalls.

We report defined outcomes with clear
boundaries. Where no approved figures exist, we
show none — there are no invented percentages,
recovery totals or impact statistics on this site.

* Donation transfer reporting applies only where a
verified donation route is used.

Reporting & evidence

Records that support
decisions — not a
highlight reel.

Evidence and reporting exist to help
accountable people make and defend
commercial decisions. The categories
below describe what can be reported;
they are not live figures.

  • Transaction records

    Status and governed order history.

  • Disposition evidence

What happened to a lot, and where.

  • Exception log

    Holds, cancellations and disputes.

  • Audit trail

    Who did what, and when.
